WIZO QUEENSLAND HISTORY

In 1959 Jess Hoffman z’l, the mother of current President, Pamela Huppert, became the first President of WIZO Queensland which is the year WIZO was established in Brisbane.

WIZO Queensland celebrated the 25th anniversary of WIZO Kesher in 2019, when they also honoured 60 years of WIZO Queensland. Paulette Cherny OAM, President of WIZO Australia, presented a certificate to WIZO Queensland President Pamela Huppert to honour her late mother Jess z’l.

WIZO Queensland membership stands at 235 members in May 2021.
