On 4 December 2023, WIZO co-sponsored a special emergency Session at the United Nations titled:   Hear Our Voices - Sexual Based Violence War Crimes that Occurred on October 7th by Hamas in Israel.

Attendees heard personal testimonies from medical crews and law enforcement officers who recounted the atrocities Hamas committed.  We gave a voice to those who were silenced and upheld the principle that rape, and sexual violence must never be used as a weapon of war.   Speakers included Ambassador Gilad Erdan, Shery Sandberg, Hillary Clint and more.
