Pam Huppert

Pam Huppert is the current WIZO Queensland State President, elected in 2018 and appointed Vice President of the WIZO Federal Executive. She was born in Brisbane in 1935, and is the daughter of Jess Hoffman - the first State President of WIZO Queensland. in 1962 she was elected President of a new young married group named WIZO Ilana - and today she hopes to be able to rally more young women to reform such groups in Brisbane. Pam was the National Women's Clay Target Champion in 1957, and caused a stir in her home state by being the first female professional shooter in Brisbane. She also ran a cosmetics company with her daughter for 23 years, but is now proud to be following in her mother's footsteps at WIZO.
