Tania Kaye
Tania was born in Auckland, New Zealand and migrated to Australia when she was 13. She has a brother who lives overseas. She attended Mount Scopus College for a few years and then went to university.
Tania also worked in her parent’s business for a number of years before she got married to Irvin who was a lawyer in his own firm. Irvin has since retired and now is into property development.
After a number of years, they had two children - Alana now 31 and Rachel now 33.
Alana has her own beauty business and Rachel works for the Government in Canberra.
Tania grew up in a very proud Jewish family. Her parents had migrated to New Zealand sometime after the War when most of their family was obliterated. They were very keen for her to have a Jewish education and supported many Jewish causes. Her mother was in WIZO for many years and was a staunch supporter of her group. They also supported the Friends of the Tel Aviv University, as they believed very much In Education.
Tania joined WIZO Golan about 20 years ago to help out with membership, a role she kept for many many years. She also helped with functions and fundraising. Tania is now on the WIZO Victoria executive and has also been there in various roles for quite some time!
Tania loves helping and supporting WIZO and is always there with advice and encouragement. She hopes to be with WIZO forever!
